As children, Randy and Cheri vacationed here in the Moosehead Lake Region, often visiting sites where their Grandfather "Grandpa John" used to work in the woods of Maine. Raised in the southern Maine region of Wells and Ogunquit, they would often visit the lake as a quick reprieve from their businesses in southern Maine. Often the Lake would speak to them and it wasn't until Cheri's daughter Erica graduated from high school and Randy decided to make a career change that the opportunity arose to spend more time here in "God's Country".Kamp Kamp was created in the rear of the once old and established Indian Store that stood in the middle of Greenville for 60 years. Their memories of the past trips to the area and the store were once more rekindled as they realized quite fast that everyone missed the old Indian Store. With the help of everyone's memories they have now recreated the modern version of the old store and are today located in the Basket Room of the once well known landmark. Randy's "Great Eye" for the interesting and unusual items ranging from Kamp and Lodge Furniture, Prints, Cottage Chic and that one of a kind item make this one stop shopping for people buying or selling cabins and homes in the area. Cheri's interest in the fun side of the Store with new items, gifts, cards, children's toys and jokes for everyone and every age adds to quite a collection of "stuff" for browsing and that is encouraged here at the store. "Something for everyone" is our motto.
