| A traditional Maine clambake at Foster’s is really a step back in time. A time before cell phones and the Internet (yes, we realize the irony of that last line). A time when friends and families enjoyed the simple pleasures of good food, good drink and good fun. On any given day or night, you’ll still see guests enjoying the pickup game of horseshoes or shuffleboard in the back. Corn-filled grins and butter coated chins are never frowned upon. Bursts of belly-aching laughter echo throughout the Pavilion. And the kids working their first summer jobs join the veterans who come back every year like clockwork. |
